Passion. Effort. Impact
Established in 2018, Traderoot Active is an impact investment project, led by Traderoot. Enabling and encouraging participation in sporting events and activities, Traderoot Active raises funds for recognised organisations that support and sustain sports development and children’s education.
Traderoot Active also helps by designing and hosting outdoor sports events that support the causes that matter most. Maximising your movement, kilometre by kilometre, Traderoot Active helps to chart a new future, and shape your dreams.
Spreading Hope and Smiles
The main objective of the Salt40 Foundation is to uplift disadvantaged people of South Africa by equipping them with skills and development and in general, assisting where possible with welfare needs. Salt40 currently works with One Million Strong, an organisation that teaches children between the ages of 11 and 14 year olds values and life skills. They use donated bicycles as an incentive for learners to participate in their current program.
Cycling is used as a means of getting the youth interested in the program, in getting active and finding a worthwhile purpose to pursue.
