Salt40 and TraderootActive spread hope and smiles, together!
On Saturday @luckyGordy from @traderootactive went to Liv Village to attend the opening of their MTB track. The event was hosted by Dan who is a junior pastor at Liv Village. @TraderootActive donated 7 cycling jerseys to the @Salt40 team who were participating in, what essentially was a time trial with team members all taking turns in heats to have a collective time at the end of the day.
@Salt40 is a non-profit organization spreading hope and creating impactful change on the KZN North Coast. They get bicycles from the USA and the UK through Rotary and donate them to organizations like Liv Village as well as other organizations with the view of giving the kids focus, and teaching them about cycling, maintenance, and competition.
They also have a leadership course where they help the youths learn skills that will help them navigate life. In the words of the founder of Salt40 founder Martin, “The jerseys made the boys so proud to be in there and gave them incredible team spirit.”
As you can see from the photos and smiles it was a huge success and Traderoot Active is proud to be associated with 2 iconic brands in Durban and surrounds that are making a palpable difference in our less fortunate communities.
