Hey Change makers!

Its December! That means almost time to kick back and gear down for 2021!

It’s been a VERY different year for us in South Africa! Through some of the gloom and hopefully many successes we’ve achieved some amazing things with YOUR contributions.

Our Get Active Monthly Challenge with the selected winner – Adeline Bloem Pillay, was kicked off this year with a PHENOMENAL response from all of you. We’ve had some pretty cool cameo features from Jane, MichFit, and Yoga with Aimee!! A huge thank you to these amazing team players for being part of our “Move for Change” movement! Every step is a step in the right direction…

Earlier this year, we initiated our monthly runs at Salt Rock Coffee in Ballito in conjunction with Dolphin Coast Striders. In the latter part of the year, we changed it up a bit and the Hops, Skip, or Run monthly events have been held at Hops Ballito. They have all been supported in the most amazing way and we hope to see these events grow in 2022!

Another move for change initiative was the Running Wild Trail Run in partnership with Rain Farm and the Orphan Fund. An opportunity to give back that truly matters!

Amidst the heartache of the July unrest in our beautiful country, we partnered with Gift of the Givers to participate in the rebuilding of SA in the N3 Corridor project. A worthy cause and one we all wholeheartedly believe in!

Our team was also part of spreading hope and smiles with the Salt 40 Foundation at the opening of the MTB track at Liv 2 Ride SA.

We’re so excited that the launch of the Traderoot Active Soccer Ball Campaign has slowly been gaining traction online, as well as at our events, and we will definitely be handing out quite a few soccer balls to underprivileged children in January.

As we approach the end of 2022, we are so pleased to announce that our online Black Friday Sale has had an overwhelming response and we look forward to seeing more kit on the road and at upcoming events. What pleases us even more is that this phenomenal response to our sale means that we get to give back even more to our community, to our bright stars, and to future sports heroes! In the end, this is what it’s all about.
